    The Clark County Board of Education Special Virtual Meeting will be on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 7 p.m. The primary meeting will be held at the Central Office building at 1600 W. Lexington Ave., Winchester, KY. A recorded version of the meeting will be available soon after the meeting concludes and can be accessed on the District website immediately following the meeting.

    Mrs. Jillian Blanton Hired as Director of Early Learning

    Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Jillian Blanton as the new Director of Early Learning! With over 17 years of dedicated experience in Early Childhood education, Mrs. Blanton is thrilled to step into this role for Clark County Public Schools. Her journey in education began at the Clark County Preschool Program, where she has made a lasting impact on students, families, and staff as an Instructional Assistant, IECE Teacher, Instructional Specialist, District Facilitator, and, most recently, Principal.

    In addition to these pivotal positions, Mrs. Blanton has supervised The Cardinals Nest, Clark County Public School’s staff childcare center, for the past year. Her leadership has been instrumental in successfully launching the CCPS Aftercare Program, which provides vital support to working families within the community.

    As Director of Early Learning, Mrs. Blanton is deeply committed to advancing the district’s early childhood education initiatives. She is looking forward to leading initiatives to expand and enhance early learning programs throughout Clark County.

    Mrs. Blanton is also excited to strengthen the CCPS Aftercare Program by introducing innovative approaches, expanding accessibility, and ensuring high-quality care that aligns with the unique needs of families in the community. She recognizes the critical role aftercare programs play in supporting working families and enhancing students’ learning experiences beyond the classroom.

    Conclusively, Mrs. Blanton is inspired by the district’s vision of "Growing Greatness". She is committed to fostering a future where every child has access to the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to excel academically, socially, and emotionally, creating a strong foundation for lifelong success.

    Dr. Lindsay Hale Hired as Interim Director of Innovation for CIC

    Please join CCPS in congratulating Dr. Lindsay Hale, as she has accepted the position of interim Director of Innovation for the new Cardinal Innovation Center!

    The Cardinal Innovation Center (CIC) will open its doors to students on January 13th on 350 Marty Jackson Way, housing programming including the Phoenix Academy, Cardinal Virtual Academy, and our STEM programming.

    Dr. Lindsay Hale is an experienced educator with a passion for helping students and teachers succeed. She serves as the Virtual Learning Coordinator, District Assessment Coordinator, and Grant Writer for Clark County Public Schools, where she works to expand virtual learning, improve access to data, and secure funding for key programs. With a strong background in STEM education and curriculum development, Dr. Hale focuses on creating innovative and inclusive opportunities that support learning and growth for all.
